NEW YORK - The Associated Press announced today its newsroom production software AP ENPS, along with planning system AP Playbook and content scheduling tool AP Cast, now comprise the AP Workflow Solutions team.
The team will release AP ENPS 9.5 this summer, an upgrade that will improve customer workflow efficiency. The enhanced system will allow users to rename stories within grouped segments, edit rundown columns from AP ENPS Mobile, auto-pin search results and use a dark mode display.
“The name change reflects our team’s focus on delivering end-to-end workflow solutions to our customers,” said Brian Hopman, vice president and general manager of the Workflow Solutions team. “With our expanded product offerings, it’s more important than ever to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience across all our products.”
In addition to AP ENPS 9.5, AP Playbook 9.5 will include a revamped user interface, providing a modern look and more user-friendly experience.
The Workflow Solutions team is committed to providing customers with the best innovative tech solutions in the industry. The team will continue to develop new features and enhance existing products to help journalists focus on storytelling and informing their communities.
Both ENPS 9.5 and Playbook 9.5 are expected to be released in early summer for no additional cost. A full list of platform updates can be found at workflow.ap.org.
The Workflow Solutions team will showcase AP ENPS and AP Playbook updates at NAB 2023, April 16-19, where they will be available to answer questions and provide demonstrations at booth C4008 in the central hall.
